SOME OF HER WORK:
Kathryn is a very interesting person. From what I have managed to establish so far, she is very passionate about her work and the amount of time she dedicates to her work matters a lot to her. She works with wood only. The simplicity of her work is very powerful as her work is a response to the development of the carving process. Throughout the process of carving the use of colour stresses the whole process which further emphasises her love and passion towards her work.
I would say that she is definitely an artist who works in a very sustainable way!
My first thought about the whole brief was that I want to work in a sustainable way also, not only because it will fit with the array of work I am going to create for my client but also because I am passionate about sustainable living as well, when possible!
This blog is my first response that! Also and most important is to establish her brand identity that has not got. She is known by word of mouth however as an artist her work is not widely available.
Right... I am off to write the proposal.
